Nickel Sulfate FAQ

What are the main applications of nickel sulphate?

Nickel Sulphate is widely used in:

Electroplating

Battery precursor materials

Its demand is strongly driven by the rapid growth of the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry.

What are the differences between electroplating grade and battery grade nickel sulphate?

Battery Grade:

Extremely strict impurity control (ppm or ppb level)

High requirements for dissolution clarity and insoluble matter

Ensures stability in ternary precursor synthesis

Electroplating Grade:

High purity required

Focus on controlling metal impurities affecting coating quality (Cu, Fe, Zn, Pb)

Less strict limits for non-critical impurities like Na and Ca
