Lithium carbonate, is an inorganic compound, chemical formula Li2CO3, molecular weight 73.89, colorless monoclinic crystal, soluble in water, dilute acid, insoluble in alcohol, acetone.Carbonate, whose thermal stability is lower than other elements of the same group in the periodic table, does not deliquesce in the air, and can be obtained by adding sodium carbonate to the solution of lithium sulfate or lithium oxide.
