Properties

Is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in inorganic acids and liquid ammonia, but insoluble in cool water and decomposes in hot water. It is highly alkaline in aqueous solution and is used in the production of strontium salts and fireworks.

Applications

Strontium Hydroxide used for 1.making strontium lubricating wax and all kinds of strontium salt, 2.also can be used to improve the drying of dry oil and paint, 3.as well as sugar beet refining.
